⬡ Custody Transfer
Paper gauge sheets get re-keyed into someone else's spreadsheet days later, and the barrels you actually moved come back wrong. Gauge the tank, enter the numbers, and walk away with net standard barrels — API MPMS 11.1 corrected to 60°F, BS&W deducted, ready for the run ticket.

⬡ Drilling Operations
A paper tally sheet does not add up as you go, does not tell you the joint you just wrote down is four feet short of every other one, and does not tell you where you stand against the setting depth until somebody sits down with a calculator. This one keeps the running cumulative length after every joint, flags anything outside ±3% of the string's average the moment you enter it, and tells you how far to go against the planned setting depth.

⬩ Field Operations
The ticket for a job finished three weeks ago is still sitting in somebody's truck, and by the time it reaches the office nobody remembers which day it was for. This captures the field ticket on location — crew, hours, materials, charges and a signed sign-off — while the job is still fresh, and gets it ready to invoice the same day instead of chasing paper for weeks.

⬩ Production Operations
Guessing which deferment to fix first leaves high-value production behind. Rank up to 30 opportunities by deferred BOE, gross lost value, cost per recovered BOE and risk, with a transparent priority score you can defend on the morning call — works offline.

⬩ Well Control
A kick is shut in and the kill sheet still has to be worked out by hand under pressure, with the drill pipe pressure step-down schedule the part nobody wants to do at 3am. Compute formation pressure, kill mud weight, ICP, FCP, MAASP and influx height from the shut-in readings with the published IADC rounding, generate the step-down schedule and kill graph, flag slow circulating rates that have gone stale against API RP 59, and print a signed kill sheet for the tour report — works offline on a rig-floor tablet.

⬩ Engineering Calculations
Guess the methanol rate low and the flowline freezes off at four in the morning; guess high and you pump thousands of gallons a year nobody ever questions. Enter pressure, gas gravity, flowing and inlet temperature, gas rate and produced water to get the hydrate formation temperature, the subcooling margin, the methanol or MEG concentration the free water actually needs, and the dose in lb/d, gal/d and $/day — then see your gal/MMscf flagged against the published field band (10–15 optimised, 30–35 typical) so chemical overspend can be argued down with a number. Towler & Mokhatab, Hammerschmidt and Bukacek correlations shown with every result; sweet gas only; works offline at the wellhead.

⬩ Engineering Calculations
A gas well that has dropped below its critical rate does not announce it: the rate sags, the line pressure wanders, somebody blames the reservoir, and the liquid column keeps growing until the well dies with reserves still in the ground. A loading well and a depleting well draw the same falling line — guess wrong and you either buy a velocity string you did not need, or lose a well you could have saved. Enter flowing wellhead pressure, temperature, gas gravity, z factor, tubing size and liquid, and both correlations run at once: Turner as the conservative screen, Coleman for the low-pressure wells below roughly 500 psi at the wellhead, with the percentage margin to each and a note saying which one to trust at your pressure. The verdict comes back in plain words — unloading, marginal, or loading up — rather than two figures to compare on a phone screen in the wind. Add each well to a screening table that sorts by margin so the one closest to loading up sits at the top, and export to CSV for the morning report. This is a wellhead droplet-model screen for vertical and near-vertical wellbores; deviated sections, tapered strings, downhole restrictions, foamers and plunger cycles are not modelled, and the app says so on screen. Every formula is printed with its coefficients. Runs offline in the truck; nothing leaves the device.

⬩ Well Control
Five stands light on the trip tank is not a rounding error — it is the well telling you it is swabbing, and on a paper sheet that signal sits buried in a column nobody totals until the trip is over. Enter the trip tank reading after each stand and it works out theoretical versus actual hole fill, the per-stand and cumulative difference in barrels, and colours the row green, amber or red against your own tolerance — naming the direction in plain words, possible swab or possible losses, while there is still time to space out and flow check. Every capacity and displacement is shown with its formula on the standard 1029.4 constant, so a driller can check any line against his own figures. Tripping out and tripping in with the sign convention handled, dry and wet pulls, pipe and drill collar rows, per-row notes, undo and a confirmed new-trip reset. This is a volumetric trip sheet, not a well control simulator: swab and surge pressures, temperature, compressibility and ballooning are not modelled, and the app says so on screen. CSV export and a print layout that files with the IADC report. Saves itself on the device through a tour change and works with no signal.

⬩ Well Control
The leak-off pressure gets read at the pump and written on a tour sheet — then somebody works out the EMW, somebody else works out the MAASP, and the two answers do not match. Enter shoe TVD, the mud weight you tested on and the pressure you read, and it returns the EMW the formation held plus the surface pressure you are allowed to shut in on at the weight you will actually be carrying. API field-unit arithmetic with a self-check on screen: MAASP evaluated back at the test mud weight has to return the pressure you entered, so a wrong TVD or gradient is visible instead of buried two steps down. It sizes a FIT before you pump too — give it the EMW the programme calls for and it returns the surface pressure that reaches it. Every test lands in a dated log with the well, the section, the mud weight, the resulting EMW and who ran it, exports as CSV for the morning report, and works offline installed to a phone on a location with no bars.

⬩ Petrophysics
Somebody’s Archie spreadsheet, copied off a laptop that left three years ago, with the exponent buried in a cell nobody can find — so the quick-look sheet gets rebuilt from scratch on every well. Enter porosity, true resistivity and water resistivity with your own a, m and n, and it returns the formation factor, Archie water saturation, hydrocarbon saturation and bulk-volume water, plus the linear shale volume from your gamma-ray clean and shale lines. Every formula is printed on screen with your numbers substituted in, and the bulk-volume water is proved by a second route that never forms the formation factor or the saturation — if the two disagree the app says so in red instead of handing you a confident wrong number. It states plainly what it does not model: clean-formation Archie with no shaly-sand correction, no Rw temperature correction, and the linear gamma-ray index only. It computes and shows its working; it draws no conclusion about a zone. Every zone lands in a dated log with the depth, the inputs and the exponents, exports as CSV, and works offline installed to a phone on a location with no bars.

⬩ Cost Planning
Water is one line on the LOE and nobody can tell you what it costs per barrel, so the trucking rate and the disposal fee get argued over separately and neither number settles it. Enter the volume, the haul distance and your own rates for each well: it splits transport from handling on every line, ranks truck, pipeline and recycle-and-reuse by all-in cost per barrel, and shows the difference against the route you are on in both dollars per barrel and dollars per month. Only trucking carries a distance term, so it solves for the mileage at which trucking stops beating pipeline and the mileage at which it stops beating recycling, on the rates you entered rather than anyone else’s. The lease rolls up to a blended cost per barrel with the single worst well called out. Exports as CSV and works offline installed to a phone.

⬩ Logistics Planning
Every weight-per-foot table stops at pounds per foot, so the truckloads still get worked out on a legal pad — and getting one joint per load wrong across a 180-joint order pays for a truck nobody needed. Enter the order and your own numbers: joint count, OD, wall thickness, average joint length, your truck capacity and your loaded-mile rate. It returns weight per foot, weight per joint, total footage, total weight, whole joints per load, loads required, total haul cost and cost per foot, with every string on the job entered as its own line and the per-line plan shown beside the job total. The packing is proved on screen rather than asserted: it shows the load it packed and the joint it left off, and turns the panel red if the arithmetic does not hold. Capacity is your figure, used exactly as entered and nothing else read into it. Exports as CSV and works offline installed to a phone.
